Vouchers are valid for either a Bird of Prey Encounter or an Owl Encounter:
Bird of Prey Encounter
- An insight into falconry lasting around one hour
- A short tour of the centre by an experienced falconer
- Hands on experience with the birds
- Learn about the birds and their training

- You will be in a group of up to five people

Owl Encounter
- A one hour session learning about the nocturnal predators
- Handle and fly at least 3 types of owls under the guidance of a falconer

What Can I Expect
Private birds of prey experiences in Oxfordshire at a lovely farm park centre at Frilford near Oxford! We are offering vouchers for up to four of you to choose between a Birds of Prey Encounter, or an Owl Encounter.
Both experiences are exclusive to you and start with a tour around the aviaries and mews, so you can see the birds up close as they rest and take plenty of close up photos.
The Birds of Prey Encounter at this Oxfordshire farm lasts around one hour. In that time you will hear all about the noble sport of falconry, how the birds are reared and get an insight into the day to day duties of the falconer.
You'll then take part in a free flying session. This is where you will take three to five raptors out for some exercise. And believe us, nothing beats the moment a beautiful bird flies over your head to land on your gloved fist. It's magical.
The Owl Encounter is a must for owl fans. You'll spend an hour with the falconer and the owls. Handling and flying at least three different species of owl during your experience, there are sure to be lots of 'Ahhhhh' moments with the cute little owls. And as for the bigger species, there's something really quite engaging about those big, dark eyes of these gorgeous creatures.
Both experiences are great options of family days out, as an hour is the ideal length, keeping the kids captivated and enthralled the whole time. The sessions are all on a private booking basis, so it'll just be you, the birds and your handler host.
