What Can I Expect
Up the ante with aerobatic wing walking! For this ultimate wing walking experience, you will be standing on the wing... whilst the plane performs stunts. This is adrenaline-filled wing walking at its best, available at a selection of airfields around the country.
To be eligible to become an aerobatic wing walker, you need to have already done a standard wing walk (either at the locations offered here, or anywhere in the UK). With your first feel of wing walking under your belt, this experience certainly steps it up a notch with aerial stunts.
Just imagine climbing up and onto the wing of the vintage Boeing Stearman. Safely strapped in with the CAA approved five-point harness, you'll hear the words ‘clear prop' ...and that means you're off!
Even having already walked the wing before, the anticipation and excitement never waivers. As your goggles press against your face and the wind picks up, the pilot deftly pulls the Stearman up… and you're airborne. This is your time to enjoy every moment up there, with your friends and family all gathered below to watch.
When it comes to aerobatics on the wing, you couldn't be in better hands. All these advanced aerobatic wing walking sessions are taken with highly-experienced display pilots at the helm. The aeroplane is cleared for lots of different aerial manoeuvres (as is your pilot!) and you'll experience some of them on your aerobatic flight from the unique perspective of the wing.
Remember, if you can, to look down, as you'll see your friends and family in the dedicated spectator zone cheering you on. All the moves are done directly over the aerodrome, so they'll see everything from your take off and your aerial display, to your landing.
You've done a wingwalk before and it was awesome. This utterly brilliant experience certainly takes walking on the wing to new heights. Book your aerobatic wing walking flight now and all that remains to be seen is if you're ready for some aerial stunts!
