Owners Michael and Hazel have transformed this village local into an elegant and comfortable inn, serving good food and drinks in bright, welcoming surroundings. It's a charming place to visit and these vouchers are for an afternoon tea for two.

Your sweet and savoury treats will be served triple-tiered platters to your table. This is a traditional afternoon tea, so there will be scones, cakes and finger sandwiches. You have a choice of freshly-brewed teas, or you can opt for coffee, which is 100% Arabica bean.

The 1066 at The Chequers has been decorated with taste and style. The team prides itself on impeccable service and a warm welcome, with a relaxed atmosphere. In essence, it's a lovely choice for an afternoon tea in the Norfolk area.

Located on the main Thetford Road, 1066 at The Chequers is easy to get to and there is ample free parking on the premises. If you fancy making a day of it, the inn is just along from Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens and there's the Diss Museum and Thelnetham Windmill in the area too.
