What Can I Expect
Magical animal encounters in Warwickshire on this working farm! Spend a half-day at the farm and get hands-on time with miniature donkeys, meerkats and alpacas. Or pick your favourite animal of the three and hang out with them during a one-hour experience.
In a little village called Hurley, you'll find Sarah and her family who run this five-acre homestead. This little corner of the Warwickshire countryside is home to a veritable menagerie of animals. From the pygmy goats and guinea pigs, to the laying hens and the rare Valais blacknose sheep. Not to mention the farm shop and coffee shack to keep the humans happy too.
The star residents are the meerkats, the miniature donkeys and the alpacas. All of them are totally at ease with human contact and love nothing more than a little cuddle with you. In fact, feeding and playing with humans are their favourite occupations!
The meerkats are as entertaining as you'd expect. Inquisitive and certainly not shy, don't be surprised if they climb on your knee, especially when you've got the feeding bowl in your hand.
The donkeys are adorable miniature Mediterraneans, a robust but tiny species originating from Sicily and Sardinia. They love playing with their treat balls and they will almost certainly come over to you to say hello.
The alpacas are fluffy and funny and totally loveable. As well as being fed and petted, they love a little walk out to check out what's going on with the other animals on their Warwickshire farm.
Interactive time with the animals is overseen by a handler, who'll make sure everyone is feeling comfortable and happy (animals included!). Expect wagging tails all-round when you go on an animal encounter at this Warwickshire farmstead! Book now online for all the family.
