What Can I Expect

Between Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, you'll find this outdoor activity centre. It's just in-land from the coast and there's loads of space, so no worries about annoying the neighbours with your hollers of delight when you hit the target!

The team at Littlehampton is fab. Each member of staff loves what they do and they want to make sure you have a good time. Expect lots of chat and amusement, all whilst throwing your axes in a safe and controlled environment.

The axe throwing range is purpose-built and it's the heart of this centre. There are multiple ‘lanes', so several throwers can be lobbing axes at once, no problem. That's why this West Sussex venue is great for small groups, accommodating up to 10 participants at a time.

Your instructor hosts will start off with a safety briefing. It's worth pointing out that this activity isn't a game or a trick, they are actual axes and they are sharp! You will then be shown how to hold, pick up and then throw an axe (yes, there is an actual technique to it!).

Then it's over to you to get throwing. First up are Tomahawk axes, which are great for getting used to the rather uncommon action of deliberately throwing an axe. Once you've got that nailed, you'll move on to traditional throwing axes. These are trickier, but you'll still have fun trying to master them.
