What Can I Expect
Photography at Batsford Arboretum! Head into the woods in Autumn - the very best time of year to capture those wonderful colours and falling leaves. We are offering vouchers for half and full-day photography lessons at Batsford Arboretum.
Your expert photographer host is Alan Ranger. He certainly has an eye for capturing amazing images on camera and he's a brilliant tutor too. His classes are always hands-on, engaging and rewarding for all who take part.
These autumnal outdoor workshops take place at Batsford Arboretum. This 56-acre site is simply stunning. Just west of lovely Moreton-in-the-Marsh in the Cotswolds, Batsford is a hugely popular visitor attraction.
It comes with a fascinating history too. It starts back in the late 1880s with Algernon Mitford, right through to 1992 when the arboretum was bequeathed to the Batsford Foundation. And today, the foundation endeavours to preserve the natural charm of these woodlands.
Even with the arboretum's popularity amongst visitors, it remains a haven of peace and tranquillity. We think that makes for the perfect backdrop for a relaxed photography session that you will really enjoy and learn lots too.
Your wide-angle lens will capture all those golden autumnal leaf colours. Zoom in and take a close-up or a fallen leaf. Or capture the light streaming through the gaps between the Birch and Oak trees. It is 100% photogenic in these lovely managed woodlands!
With Alan's help and coaching, you will capture some amazing images of these woods during Autumn time. Buy your vouchers for these guided photography sessions at Batsford Arboretum.
