What Can I Expect

Small-group DIY courses in Hampshire! No more wonky shelves with these hands-on, confidence-building, ‘do it yourself' courses in the Fleet area. You'll be amazed how much you will learn in one day.

Husband and wife team Jonty and Amanda host these one-day DIY courses from their fully-equipped workshop barn, on a farm estate near the village of Church Crookham. Everything you need to learn and get practising is included, from work benches and power drills, to the spirit levels and fixings.

The idea of these courses is to teach you all the basics, to give you the skills and the confidence to tackle those everyday DIY jobs at home. From hanging shelves nice and level, to fixing new curtain rails, or putting up a picture, you will be able to do it all, all by yourself!

Topics covered include how to use an electric drill, how you should drill into different surfaces, such as wood, plasterboard, brick and even metal, as well as which fixings you should use for each type. You'll each have plenty of space to work as you get drilling, fixing and hanging onto various materials.

It's a fun and inviting atmosphere where everyone is welcome at these workshops, whether you have some do it yourself experience, or have never owned a power drill in your life!

By the end of your one-day DIY course in Hampshire, you'll be confident enough to tackle those everyday home improvement tasks and projects you've always wanted to get done. And now you can do them yourself!
