What Can I Expect
Bird of Prey Experiences at venues nationwide. Your half-day or full-day voucher is valid at your choice of location from loads all around the country, so it's the perfect chance to make some new feathered friends!
Most of these experiences take place in a small group, giving you plenty of time to get to know the different birds of prey at your chosen centre. We work with falconers all over the country, so there's bound to be a centre that catches your beady Eagle eye!
All experiences will start with a welcome and introductions to the birds. You'll learn about the history of falconry and get an insight into the day to day life of looking after such magnificent birds. From breeding and feeding, to training and conservation work, there's always lots to do.
Itineraries will vary, but typically on a half-day session you'll have plenty of time after the meet and greet to handle and fly your birds. And of course, that moment a raptor lands on your gloved fist is magical. With their razor-sharp claws and proud beaks, this is an unmissable photo opportunity, so don't forget your camera!
Full-day courses give you additional time with the birds of prey, working with experienced bird handlers to really get to know the birds and their characters in their natural habitat in the great British outdoors.
Whichever experience you choose and wherever you go for it, you'll marvel at the close relationship these expert handlers have with their birds and get to see just how efficiently they work together as a team to be highly successful hunters and flyers.
Our half and full-day nationwide bird of prey vouchers offer total flexibility, making them a great gift to give.
