What Can I Expect
A Brighton day out that’s perfect for culture vultures! These vouchers for two include entry to Brighton Royal Pavilion, Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, as well as Preston Manor. All three are filled to the rafters with fascinating history, art and artefacts.
Brighton’s iconic Regency Palace and museum make up the distinctive Royal Pavilion and gardens in the heart of bustling Brighton. Built as a veritable seaside pleasure palace by King George IV, it’s easily Brighton’s most distinctive landmark with that very exotic design!
Inside you’ll find a myriad of rooms with ornaments, sculptures, artwork, chandeliers and exquisite pieces of furniture adorning every room. It’s a wonderful place to visit and a must-do on any day visit to Brighton.
Within the pavilion gardens you’ll find the imposing, gothic-style building housing Brighton’s Museum and Art Gallery. There’s lots to see here, with local history, fine art, decorative art, pop culture and fashion featuring.
A little further afield you’ll find Preston Manor, nestled in the village of the same name, which is now part of the Brighton & Hove area. With little having changed inside, the house gives an amazing insight into life in Edwardian times.
It’s proper ‘upstairs, downstairs’ stuff, with the flagrant difference between the servants’ quarters and service areas, compared to the opulence in which the resident Stanford family lived!
All three Brighton museums are thoroughly captivating and we think you’ll have a great day out in Brighton & Hove visiting them all!
