What Can I Expect

All inclusive Caterham track tuition sessions offered at over 30 circuit venues around the UK! Feel like a proper racing driver as you take to the track in these amazing cars to hone your racing line.

The Caterham 7 is road legal, but totally comes into its own when driven on a track. With a low-slung chassis, all that high-torque and an open cockpit means this is proper, back to basics racing in bucket loads - and you’re the racing driver!

We are offering one-hour track tuition tasters, as well as a half-day course to really get into the nitty-gritty of racing these amazing British designed and built cars. All vouchers include Collision Waiver Damage (CDW) insurance too.

You’ll start by gathering to meet your race coach, who will explain how your experience will unfold, go through the safety and track etiquette side of things, as well as introducing you to the Caterham and its idiosyncrasies.

You will then be handed the keys. The Caterham will be all yours for the duration of your experience.

It’s a truly amazing feeling to be out on the track, honing your craft as you build up your understanding of and your relationship with this modern icon of a car. You’ll know when you reach that motoring sweet spot, as you start to drive smoothly and seemingly effortlessly.

To help you get there, your coach sitting beside you will regularly call you into the pit lane for a briefing, giving you helpful feedback, hints and tips on how to continue to engage and reduce those lap times.

When Is It Available

• Selected weekdays and weekends
• Dates and session times are subject to availability at your chosen circuit

Suitable For

• Minimum age 17 years with full driving licence, which will need to be shown on the day
• This car has the smallest cockpit of any car made resulting in a very snug fit!
• Minimum height 4ft, maximum is 6'4"
• Maximum weight is 18 stone
• Drivers with size 10 feet or over may need to remove their shoes to drive this vehicle

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to watch free of charge
• There are toilets on site
• There are multiple vehicles driving at the circuit so there's lots to see (if you like watching cars go fast!) and plenty of opportunity for drivers to pose with vehicles for photographs
• There are limited covered viewing areas
• You are advised to bring your own refreshments and snacks
• Professional photographs can usually be purchased on the day

Anything Else

• Sighting laps and the option to upgrade to a full-day tuition available to purchase when booking your date, if required and subject to availability
