What Can I Expect
Classic car taster experiences - harking back to a time before ABS and paddle-shift gearboxes! You're going to have an absolute blast driving these classic cars around the track.
This is vintage motoring at its very best, with a nod to the time when simply going out 'for a drive' was a popular pastime in itself. You get that wonderful sensation of being free to drive purely for the enjoyment value during these classic car blasts, offered at your choice of track, from a selection nationwide.
So what is the line-up of cars like? Well, we can tell you that in terms of vintage car gifts, this one has to be near the number one spot, as all the favourites feature. Whether it's the classic motor from a much-loved movie, a car that brings back blissful childhood memories, or is simply the drive you've lusted after ever since you got your licence, there's bound to be a motor that'll catch your eye.
On these classic car tasters there are three cars that leap onto the podium (and come with a very-worth-it small upgrade fee): the Jag E-Type, the vintage Ford Mustang and the Aston Martin DB5. For many of us motoring-mad Brits, the Jaguar E-Type is seminal. It's quite simply a gorgeous classic car that epitomises the taste and style of the 60s. Same with the DB5 - it will always be the best Bond car!
The classic Ford Mustang gives a transatlantic flavour to your taster day. The perfect example of a Fastback car. It's certainly distinctive, with that continuously sloping roofline right down the rear bumper. As you can imagine, it's quite a handful on the track too!
Following close at the heels is a whole spectrum of classics included in your voucher. From the lovely little (and pretty rare) MkIII Mini Cooper S from the 60s and the hot hatches straight out of the 80s, to the behemoth that is the Dodge Charger. Anything Else
- The Aston Martin DB5 is a replica of the famous James Bond DB5, built on a modern chassis
- All drivers on the day will have the option to pay a non-refundable £29 damage waiver which will cover them against any damage that may be caused to the vehicle(s) in the event of an incident
- Drivers who do not wish to take this waiver will need to sign a disclaimer and will need to be able to cover the cost on the day for any damage to the vehicle up to a maximum amount of £5000. Credit cards will need to be provided with a £5000 limit or about for this reason. Debit cards are accepted however please be aware a pre-authorisation applies to debit cards to check funds are available
