Classic car hire in Essex! Conveniently located right next to Shoeburyness train station, this flotilla of fabulous little sports cars is ready and waiting for you, with one-day rentals to explore the Essex towns and coast. 

We are offering classic car hire vouchers for weekday rentals, as well as anytime vouchers, which include renting over the weekend period of Friday to Monday.

So which car will you choose? Classics from across the decades include the Triumph Stag, the TVR, a lovely MGB Midget, a Roadster and a Morgan too. They are all true motoring delights and pretty much iconic when it comes to classic British sports cars.

And it’s true to say, each of these lovely cars to hire has its own personality, so your hosts will explain the idiosyncrasies of your chosen classic before you set off on your rental day of adventure around Essex.

We love the fact that these vouchers are for one driver and one passenger, so you can enjoy the day of motoring in the Essex countryside together.

If you go for the picnic add-on (available as a separate voucher on this page), you'll set off with a hamper of goodies to enjoy where and when you like. It's the ultimate in self-drive freedom. Head off along the Thames estuary, drive north to the Dengie nature reserve, explore seaside resorts like Holland on Sea and Westcliff on Sea, or cruise around the lovely Maldon villages - it's up to you.

And if your classic car hire package in Essex is part of a plan to surprise your loved one, be it for a birthday, an anniversary or a proposal, your wonderful hosts Tim and Simon will be only too willing to help with the surprise!

When Is It Available

• Weekday vouchers are valid for use Monday-Thursday
• Anytime vouchers also includes Friday-Sunday hire
• Daily hire is from 10:00-18:00 (longer hire periods may be available when booking your date, for an additional charge)

Suitable For

• Drivers must hold a full manual UK driving licence with less than 6 points (licences will be checked with the DVLA)
• Drivers must be aged between 25 and 75

Spectators

• One passenger may accompany you in the vehicle
• If you wish to share the driving this can be arranged for an additional charge, payable when booking your date

Anything Else

• Optional collision damage waiver is available to purchase when booking your date
• A deposit of £500 will be taken as security against the vehicle whilst in your possession, which will be returned on completion of hire. This can be paid via credit or debit card
• Two forms of ID must be produced, one of which must be photo ID
• As with all classic cars there is no guarantee they will be available on the day
• Any mileage over the 150 mile allowance will be charged at £1 per mile
