What Can I Expect

Cocktail masterclasses in Chatham! Learn the art of mixology making classic house cocktails on these fun experiences in Kent. 

These signature cocktail classes take place in the lovely Distillery Hall at Copper Rivet in the heart of Chatham Dockyard. Your mixologist host and tutor will teach you everything you need to know to make great cocktails.

You will be gathering the ingredients and the garnishes to make three cocktails from the distillery's Pumproom Bar & Restaurant menu. You'll be using this Chatham distillery's in-house produced spirits, such as the Masthouse Whisky, Vela Vodka, Gun Coffee Liqueur and Son of a Gun grain spirit.

And whilst you are mixing, shaking and stirring, you'll hear about the history of the place, the family-run distillery business and the story behind some of the best-loved cocktails in the world. It's fascinating stuff!

Of course, no cocktail making masterclass would be complete without tasting your carefully crafted cocktails. So to round off your experience, you'll be invited to relax and sip those cocktails you made in this wonderful, historic setting.

• The distillery has two flights of stairs so this experience will not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility
• Assistance dogs are permitted but for safety certain parts of the distillery are restricted
