See the best Scottish acts at a comedy night in Glasgow! If you're looking for some LOLs of an evening, we are offering tickets for the Blackfriars of Bell Street comedy club.  

These Glaswegian comedy nights are brought to you by a team with decades of experience in bringing laughter to audiences around the world.

They're not ones to blow their own trumpet, but we can tell you that they gave comedians like Kevin Bridges and Gary Little their first paid gigs and made headline acts out of well-known stars such as John Bishop and Alan Carr!

The Blackfriars of Bell Street is home to one of Glasgow's oldest comedy clubs - back in the day, the OG comedian Billy Connolly was a regular at this basement venue! It's a small and intimate venue that's just for a comedy night, with theatre-style rows of seats, tables and booths, as well as standing spots to watch Scotland's funniest comedians.

A compere will host the evening, opening the show with a few gags, before introducing each act before they take to the stage. They also give the thanks and close the show at the end. It's a skilled job to keep the audience interested and these comperes do it with aplomb.

After the jokes, anecdotes and wisecracks have come to an end, you can stay on and enjoy your evening into the wee hours, with the venue staying open until late for the post-comedy club sessions.
