What Can I Expect

Experience the Eden Project Gravity Swing - a 50ft drop, 0-50 mph in just one (yes, ONE!) second, with a force of 3G! As you can probably tell, this swing at Cornwall’s most famous botanical gardens is both scary and thrilling at the same time.

On the edge of those iconic Eden domes, you’ll find another (albeit smaller) dome, which is the Hangloose basecamp.  This is where you’ll sign in for your gravity swing session and meet the activity instructors.

Safety is paramount and you’ll have a briefing on what to expect and the safety gear you’ll be wearing. Once harnessed up, secured in and sitting on the swing seat, you will be winched up into the air, about 15 metres above the Eden Project.

You will just about have time to take in what are the best aerial views you could ever get of this renowned Cornish tourist attraction, before you get released. And off you go, plummeting to the ground ridiculously fast, with your heart literally in your mouth.

You probably won’t even have time to scream. It’s that sort of scary - with adrenaline, terror and laughs in equal measure!

• Please Note:   children under 10 years old, may be too light for the activities. We recommend you weigh them before booking 
• All participants under 16 must have a parent or guardian (over 18) onsite.
• Minimum weight 35kg/5 stone 7lb
• Maximum weight 120kg / 18 stone 12 lb
• Not suitable during pregnancy or for those with neck, back or shoulder injuries, epilepsy or heart conditions

• There is a maximum combined weight of 250kg on the swing. If booking multiple vouchers for a group of you, it may be necessary to spread your group across the next time slot to keep within this limitation
• You may not be seated next to each other on the Swing - for safety reasons the weight needs to be distributed evenly
