What Can I Expect

Say 'B uongiorno' to the Ferrari 488 experience coming to a race track near you! We are offering three and six-mile drives in the 488 GTB at a large selection of tracks around the UK. Get ready on the paddle shifts, you're going 488 driving!

This is a stunning car. And if just looking at the 488 gives you goosebumps, imagine what the experience of driving one will do to you. It has a roaring 3.9l twin turbo mid-mounted engine that red-lines at 8000 rpm, giving a whopping 660 bhp. But bear in mind this 488 does about 24 miles to the gallon…

Of course, that figure depends on how you drive the 488. In our experience, wheel screeching around a track in this Ferrari will make that figure drop even more. Owning a car like this requires deep pockets. But on these sessions you're there purely to enjoy the sensations of driving this epic car, rather than worrying about service costs, thankfully!

Inside it's a veritable racing cockpit, designed with that F1 heritage in mind. Most of the controls are actually on the steering wheel - from the engine start button, to the lights and indicators. And there's no gearbox to worry about, it's a flick of the right paddle to shift up and the left paddle to shift down to move quickly and efficiently through those seven gears.

Described by the organisers of these track days as ‘beautiful beyond belief' and with car journalists hailing that twin-turbo V8 engine a veritable ‘masterpiece', this is one of the most coveted models from Ferrari's stable.

With a choice of three or six-mile Ferrari 488 experiences, operating at race circuits around the UK, something tells us you're going to enjoy your drive. So much so that you'll have trouble saying 'Ciao' to the 488 at the end of your experience.

When Is It Available

• Selected weekday dates throughout the year
• Sessions are available from 08:30 to 15:30

Suitable For

• Minimum age 17
• Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult on site
• Minimum height 4ft 5
• A full UK driving licence is required
• This is not suitable if you have previously had back, neck or knee problems

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to come and watch

Anything Else

• All drivers on the day will have the option to pay a non-refundable £29 damage waiver which will cover them against any damage that may be caused to the vehicle(s) in the event of an incident
• Drivers who do not wish to take this waiver will need to sign a disclaimer and will need to be able to cover the cost on the day for any damage to the vehicle up to a maximum amount of £5000. Credit card details will need to be provided with £5000 limit or above for this reason. Debit cards are accepted however please be aware a pre-authorisation applies to debit cards to check funds are available
• Once you have booked your date with the supplier should you need to to cancel within 7 days of your booking, a charge of £29 per car to re-book will apply.  This also applies to cancellations due to Covid.
• Cancellation cover is available at the time of booking your date for £20 which would cover any last minute cancellation.
