What Can I Expect

Flying lessons in Norwich! We are offering vouchers for 45 and 60-minute lessons in two and four-seater aircraft from Norwich International Airport in Norfolk.

Based out of the Business Aviation Centre, in an area away from the main passenger terminal, this aircraft services company offers everything from flight training, to jet charters. It's a hive of activity overlooking the runway, making it a great location for flying lessons.

Two-seater flights are generally taken in a Pipistrel Explorer. These well-equipped light sports aircraft boast versatility and excellent cross-country capabilities, along with low noise and low fuel consumption, all while maintaining or even enhancing performance. They're easy to fly and great fun too. That's why pilots love these funky little high wing aircraft.

Four-seater lessons out of Norwich are operated using a Diamond DA40. The Austrian-created Diamond Star is a great plane. With its distinctive ‘T'-shaped tail, this low-wing aircraft is very stylish and beautifully designed, with a glass cockpit offering superb visibility, an extremely high level of onboard equipment and even racing-style bucket leather seats!

Taking off from the dedicated flying school terminal means you are well-placed for some excellent views of the Norfolk coast and countryside as you fly. Of course, it's not just about the East Anglian scenery, these experiences are all run as trial first flying lessons, so you will be invited to take the controls and fly.

When Is It Available

• Experiences are available on most weekdays and weekends throughout the year
• Your booking will be rescheduled in the case of bad weather
• Please check on the morning of your flight to ensure weather conditions are suitable

Suitable For

• Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
• Photographic ID may be requested on the day

2 Seater Restrictions

• Minimum age is 14 years
• Maximum height of 6ft 4ins
• Maximum weight limit of 16 stone

4 Seater Restrictions

• Minimum age 12
• For participants aged 12-13 an adult must accompany you as an observer in the aircraft
• Maximum height of 6ft 4ins
• Maximum participant weight limit 18 stone
• Four seater flights allow for one passenger with a maximum weight of 15 stone (at the pilot's discretion)

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to attend
• With views of the runway you are welcome to bring cameras to capture images of the participant in the aircraft

Anything Else

• For those over 14 lessons count towards hours for your PPL (private pilots licence) should this be of interest
