What Can I Expect
Introductory flights at this Turweston flying school! We are offering vouchers for 30, 40 and 60-minute trial flights out of this convivial and relaxed airfield just north of Brackley. Turweston is well-placed between Milton Keynes and Banbury and offers great views of the Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire border area.
If you were to take flying lessons at Turweston, you'd be learning to fly in a dual-control light aircraft such as the Piper Cherokee. These same planes are used for your introductory flight. Rugged, stable and forgiving, the Cherokee is a favourite of flying schools around the world.
All flight operations and air traffic movements are managed by the school. So when you visit for your introductory flight with them, you know you're at the heart of this small and friendly airfield.
And a special mention for the instructors. They are all highly, highly experienced. Don't be surprised if you end up sharing a cockpit with a pilot who has flown priceless vintage aircraft, taken part in air displays around the country, served in the RAF as a jet fighter pilot, or flown big Boeings commercially. There's a full range of aviation skills in Turweston!
As a fully-accredited Approved Training Organisation (ATO), all the instructors love teaching people to fly. The team's enthusiasm with new trainees is inimitable, so the flying bug is sure to rub off on you too.
These flights out of Turweston are tailor made to suit, so it's your choice if you'd like to be introduced to flying and have a go at being hands on, or prefer to take the time to see the local sights such as Silverstone and Althorp from the air.
