What Can I Expect
Thrilling four-seater helicopter lessons out of Brighton Airport! We are offering vouchers for 15, 30, 45 and 60-minute flights in Robinson R44 helicopters to fly over the Sussex coast and countryside in style.
The big advantage of being in a four-seater chopper for your lesson is the fact that (subject to pilot approval and weight limits) you can invite one or two people to accompany you as rear-seat observers for the flight.
And it’s going to be a wonderful flight. Brighton Airport is so well-placed right by the coastline, that you are all going to be treated to great views of the sea and the beaches from the air, as well as lots of recognisable landmarks.
And then there's the history. You might know this place as Shoreham Airfield, or even as Brighton Hove and Worthing Municipal Airport, as it was first named when the sparkling new terminal building opened in 1936. Built in magnificent Art Deco style, look out for the now Grade II listed terminal building when you rise into the air in your chopper!
As this experience is a proper helicopter lesson, as soon as it’s safe to do so, your pilot instructor will hand you the controls. The aim is to give you as much flying time as possible and if you have the knack, you might even get to try some hovering too.
With a full range of flight durations available and lots to see and do in and around the airfield, we think these four-seater helicopter lessons at Brighton Airport are a great gift to give any budding heli pilot - especially when you might get to tag along too!
