What Can I Expect

Time to literally hang loose on this crazy Giant Swing at Bluewater! Expect big thrills and lots of exhilaration as you go swinging on this, Europe’s highest swing at the Hangloose Adventure Centre.

Hoisted up and suspended at 50m above the ground, this gigantic aerial swing is the sort of experience that’ll turn your stomach inside out. The fear factor is definitely there, as you wait, legs dangling, ready to swing from the top of the cliff.

And away you go! Whooshing through the air, you’ll reach speeds of up to 50mph, hurtling over the water on this giant swing. Will you be eyes-closed, holding on right and screaming, or will you be hands-in the air and beaming?

Of course, it’s a swing, so expect to be going back and forth for quite a while with the momentum of that initial big, breathtaking release. Eventually, you’ll be hoisted back down to earth and you’ll find your feet back on the ground.

There are five seats on the swing and the minimum age is eight years, with a minimum weight of 35kg and for adults a maximum of 120kg. Under 12s will need to be accompanied on the swing by an adult, so go on, be brave and go with the kids!

• Maximum weight 120kg / 18 stone 12 lb
• Not suitable during pregnancy or for those with neck, back or shoulder injuries, epilepsy or heart conditions

• There is a maximum combined weight of 400kg on the swing. If booking multiple vouchers for a group of you, it may be necessary to spread your group across the next time slot to keep within this limitation
• You may not be seated next to each other on the Swing - for safety reasons the weight needs to be distributed evenly
