What Can I Expect
Glamping in Norfolk with an animal encounter included! These two night breaks for two in either a cute Shepherd's Hut, or the Cozy Nook hidden hideaway cabin, are the perfect way to unwind and relax.
Amanda and Barry invite you to their farmstead near Catfield in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. As well as their menagerie of rescued animals, the starry meadows are home to three self-contained huts. There's also the Cozy Nook, which is hidden in three-acres of magical woodland all for you.
The Shepherd's Huts are small, but perfectly formed, with a proper double bed, kitchenette, TV and ensuite bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. The wood-clad interiors are super cute and well-thought out, with heating and double-glazed windows too.
The Cozy Nook offers a very special glamping break away in Norfolk. It offers a total ‘back to nature' experience, with welcome solitude in the private, ancient woodland. Don't be surprised if you wake up to see wild deer and foxes through your window.
All lodgings make the most of the outside surroundings, with a fire pit and gas BBQ for each one. Just imagine sitting out under the stars with a bottle of vino on the go, roasting marshmallows over the flames. Pure unadulterated bliss.
And talking of adults, there are no kids allowed on this Norfolk glamp site, so a chilled and calm stay is pretty much guaranteed, apart from perhaps the morning chorus of bird song!
All glamping stays include an animal encounter. Amanda (who is super knowledgeable about all her rescued residents) will show you round. You can choose between meeting the pigs or the donkeys. You'll spend around an hour on a stroll with your new animal friend, helping with daily grooming routines and feeding.
If you do fancy venturing beyond your relaxed surroundings, just a 10-minute stroll brings you to the local pub, with lots of Norfolk beers and tasty home cooking. There's cycling, hiking, boating on the Broads and trips to the Norfolk seaside - all possible when you go glamping in Norfolk.
