What Can I Expect
Welcome Christmas, bring your cheer on the Grinchmas afternoon tea bus tour! A festive sightseeing tour around Central London on a vintage Routemaster double decker bus, with Grinch-themed onboard entertainment and food.
You’ll board the Grinch bus from London’s Victoria Coach Station. Lasting around one and a half hours, you’ll be bussed through central London in vintage double decker style, going right past all the big-hitter sights, such as the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Hyde Park and lots more.
Whilst you’re seeing those sights, there’s some Grinching going on. Watch out for a prankster onboard who will be trying to keep you entertained (or should that be distracted?) during your bus journey.
Even the afternoon tea has been Grinched. Max’s favourite quiche, ‘Sweet as Cindy Lou Who’ chocolate tart and mini Mount Crumpit choux delights all feature. And as the Grinch himself would say, ‘It’s because I’m green isn’t it!’...but don’t let that put you off the green scones!
These limited edition Grinchmas afternoon tea bus tours run over the festive period from November to the end of January only. There are several departures per day and, if you want to make your Grinch bus tour extra Christmassy, book on for the 17:30 trip, as you'll get to see the Christmas lights sparkling on Regents Street as night falls.
We are offering vouchers for child and adult tickets for the Grinchmas bus tour, which is most enjoyable for all ages from five years old. Hop on the Grinchtastic vintage double decker bus and enjoy the sights, the Grinch afternoon tea and entertainment too!
When Is It Available
- The tour runs daily between 11th November 2024 and 31st January 2025
- Dates are subject to availability, some dates and times may not be available due to special events taking place in London
- Closure Dates: 24th December after 14:30, 25th, 26th and 31st December and 1st and 2nd January
- Weekends are available for a supplement payable direct when making your booking
- During early November and early January tours running at 17:30 will will take a route along Regent Street to view the Christmas lights
- Bus tour times: 12:30, 15:00 & 17:30
