What Can I Expect

Wine, lunch and vineyard walks on our Gusbourne Estate Tour! This experience for two will see you enjoy a visit with a full itinerary to this leading wine producer not far from Ashford in the heart of Kent.

On arrival, you’ll be greeted by one of the Gusbourne hosting team, who will hand you a welcome flute of the estate’s sparkling wine. The perfect way to start your tour!

The very first vines were planted on this 60-acre estate just outside the picturesque village of Appledore in 2004. Since then, the production has emerged, developed and grown into a fine collection of sparkling and still wines.

The founder’s aim was always to ‘make exceptional wines...with respect for nature and an uncompromising attention to detail’. As you hear the story of the vineyard on your leisurely guided stroll around the vines and taste the fruits of their labour, we think you’ll agree that this passionate Gusbourne team has succeeded!

After your guided tour and tasting, you’ll be invited to The Nest restaurant area to take your seats for your delicious three-course lunch. The young and talented cheffing team focuses on using local produce to create fresh, seasonal menus - and, of course, dishes are paired with the estate’s own wines.

When Is It Available

• Available Thursdays to Sundays throughout the year
• The day begins at 11:00 finishing at approximately 15:30
• Due to popularity it recommended you book at least 4 weeks in advance

Suitable For

• Minimum age 18
• The tasting room has ramp access, and accessible toilets suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that use a wheelchair some of the time
• Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted inside The Nest, the tasting rooms or winery
