What Can I Expect

Wonderful gyroplane lessons in Cornwall! We have vouchers available for 30, 45 and 60-minute flights in a gyroplane out of the lovely Bodmin Airfield.

Nothing beats the ‘open to the elements' sensation that being in a gyroplane guarantees. And it's certainly not back to basics flying. These Magni M-16C gyros are modern, well-equipped and well-built, whilst maintaining that grass-roots flying feel.

The Cornish team has given the moniker 'Primrose' to their Magni - and you'll immediately see why. Resplendent in her bright yellow livery, the gyrocopter is as sunny as the Cornish weather!

With an experienced pilot at the helm, you will take off from Bodmin's green and gorgeous grass runway (the airfield is in fact officially classed as a Country Wildlife Site!) for your fantastic flight.

Being located in the heart of Cornwall near Bodmin, you are equidistant from both North and South Cornish shores, so within minutes of taking off, you'll be treated to fabulous views of the coastline.

As well as experiencing the stunning coast and country vistas, you'll be able to take the controls of the gyroplane (if you're up for it) and actually fly the aircraft yourself. It'll be a proper lesson, with you learning some basics as you fly.

You'll soon realise just how fun and agile these Magnis are. They need just 50m to be able to take off and a mere 5m to land safely, so they are actually pretty impressive flying machines!
