What Can I Expect
Hot air balloon rides from Bath! Famed for its Roman Baths and wonderful architecture, Bath is a perennially popular place for tourists to visit. These rides in a balloon let you see Bath and beyond from a whole new angle!
There are several launch sites available around the Bath area and your ride could be from any of them, including Royal Victoria Park and The Pumpkin Patch, which are closest to Bath city centre.
Taking off from Royal Victoria Park is a real delight, as you are right next to the famous Royal Crescent, the row of stunning Georgian houses that symbolise Bath. The Pumpkin Patch is a great launch site too. It's on the west side of the City near Corston and yes, it really is a farm growing pumpkins!
Of course, the wind will be the one to say where you'll be going on your hot air balloon ride, but we're sure you'll be spotting things like the Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge, the River Avon and the rugby ground. Beyond Bath you'll be treated to far reaching views towards the lakes of the Chew Valley and the Welsh hills.
Wherever you take off from, it's going to be exciting and wonderful. And if you're up for it, you can even help inflate the balloon at the start and assist with the packing up at the end.
And we must add, everyone who takes a hot air balloon ride over Bath is treated to a glass of Champagne when you return back to base, so you can toast the day you went up, up and away in a balloon!
