What Can I Expect

On holiday or local, these jewellery making workshops in Cleethorpes are super welcoming and super fun! We have a selection of different workshops for you to choose from and in every case, you'll be taking home your special creation.

Host Julie trained as a silversmith in Lincolnshire in the 90s and has been teaching since 2009. She loves silver work and is passionate about tutoring too. With an originality and artistry that we really admire, this talented jeweller is a great workshop leader, guiding you along your personal journey to making something shiny and lovely out of silver.

We have vouchers for stacking ring, earring and bangle-making workshops. All the materials, tools and tuition you need is included and you can expect to spend the best part of half a day in this relaxing and inventive environment.

And what a workshop it is! Julie's jewellery workshops are held in her lovely garden studio, overlooking her very serene gardens at her home in the Humberston area of Cleethorpes. In the summer, the patio doors are thrown open onto the decking. And in winter it's all nice and cosy, with a tea and coffee area for a comforting cuppa.

Inside the studio there are separate work stations for each stage of the process of making your own jewellery. There's soldering, stamping, sawing, drilling and polishing to be done, all under the watchful (and very helpful and encouraging) eyes of skilled silversmith Julie.

By the end of your day of jewellery making in Cleethorpes you'll have learnt a lot and handcrafted your very own piece of silver jewellery that is yours to take home and cherish. And with the minimum age of six, it's an activity for all ages and generations to enjoy together.
