One Hour Session
- One hour session including briefings with approximately 50 minutes driving time
- Learn the basics of car control including steering the vehicle, clutch control, breaking and thinking about the road ahead
Two Hour Session
- Two hour session including briefings with approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes driving time
- As well as the above you will further your understanding about potential hazards on the road and how to respond to them in a practical scenarios off the road
Three Hour Session
- Three hour session including briefings with approximately 2 hour 30 minutes of driving
- As well as all of the above you will have a 30 minute Motorsport Academy Licence assessment
- Debrief of the session where you will go through all you have covered
What Can I Expect
Be a junior Porsche driver at the London Motor Circuit! We are offering one, two and three-hour lessons in an actual Porsche Boxster for 11 to 16 year olds - no driving licence needed.
Of course, the Boxster is a proper little roadster sports car, so how come kids are allowed to drive these pocket rockets? Well, put simply, the car is a dual-control and on a private track area. You could say driving it is child's play, but it is still a powerful car that needs taming, with lots of torque and incredible handling.
So how will these junior Porsche sessions play out? Well, teens are assigned a one-to-one slot with one of the professional London Motor Circuit instructors. There'll be a driver briefing, followed by in-car learning. That means from the moment your teenager is securely installed in the car, it's them who will be driving!
All sessions are run like lessons, so kids learn a lot about the basic driving techniques. Teaching is geared towards the youngster's ability, with the driving adapted to their level. The teens could be smoothly negotiating a coned slalom with aplomb, tackling reverse parking with ease, or simply driving down the straight with a huge grin on their faces!
