What Can I Expect

This is your invite to La Bibliotheque afternoon tea in London! With an intriguing and flavour-filled melange of Japanese and Mediterranean influences, this is certainly a treat with a difference…

La Bibliotheque is a petite and perfectly formed bar and restaurant in the Dalston area of hip and happening East London. The vibe is very much laid-back in a cool, contemporary style. You’ll love the banquette seating for a comfy afternoon tea experience.

Your three-tiered stand of sweet and savoury goodies will be served at your table. The chef and team freshly prepare everything, so the menu will change regularly and with the seasons, to continuously be inventive and innovative.

You could be tucking into anything from Japanese Matcha tea financiers with citrus mousse, to Sweet potato moshi. We love the Miso salted caramel (sooo good!) and the Dark chocolate crémeux is very smooth and delicious.

Of course, there will be a pot of fresh-brewed tea of your choice to accompany your fab eats. You can also opt for the Sparkling tea, with a glass of sparkling sake or Champagne included. If you’re really going for it, the Unlimited cocktails option gives you free range with a selection of fine cocktails for 90 minutes.

Your La Bibliotheque afternoon tea table will be reserved for you for two hours, so you have plenty of time to eat those wonderful Japanese tapas-style treats and enjoy some drinks too, as you catch up with friends and loved ones at this funky East London location.
