What Can I Expect

Explore Leonardslee Wine Estate in West Sussex! Our vineyard tours are for two and include brunch or afternoon tea in the superb Vineyard Kitchen restaurant.

The Leonardslee vineyard is set in 240 acres of classic West Sussex countryside near Horsham. Entrepreneur Penny Streeter OBE bought the estate in 2016, with a view to creating the ultimate wine destination.

At the start of her journey, Penny repurposed nine holes of an existing golf course to establish her English vines and is now producing some of the best quality English sparkling wines there are.

On your tour through the Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapevines, you'll hear the compelling ‘rags to riches' story of Penny and her family, find out how Leonardslee wine is made and how Penny's passion and determination is key!

No tour would be complete without getting to taste and savour some of the estate's three sparkling wines. These are the Blanc de Blanc, Brut Rosé and Brut Reserve.

Each and every bottle of Leonardslee wine tells a story and you'll discover more about this family business, with lots of fascinating anecdotes, including why swallows feature on the labels of the wines!

If you choose the tour and brunch voucher, you will start your visit at the Vineyard Kitchen, enjoying a delicious brunch offering before your tour and tasting.

Those booked in for afternoon tea will tour this West Sussex wine estate and have a tasting before sitting down to your traditional English sweet and savoury treats served in the Vineyard Restaurant.

Leonardslee Wine Estate, with its picturesque vineyard and sumptuous manor house at the heart of the grounds, is the perfect place to while away a day with wine, good food and a great story!
