What Can I Expect
Do London and Stonehenge in a day! This full-day package includes a London bus tour, a Thames boat cruise and a trip to see Stonehenge too. Great value and packed with sights to see, this is a superb day out!
Your excursion starts with a guided tour of the capital on a vintage, open-top, double decker bus. Your 1950s classic Routemaster bus will take you past all the big-hitter tourist sights, from St Pauls’ Cathedral and Trafalgar Square, to the Houses of Parliament and the Shard.
There’s even time during the tour for a little photo stop at Westminster Abbey and a stop off at Buckingham Palace for the famous changing of the guard ceremony too.
After that, it’s time to swap your bus for a boat, as you join the privately-chartered cruise along the River Thames. It’s fascinating to see the landmark buildings that line both banks of the river from the water. It’s a whole new perspective on the nation’s capital!
Following a break where you can get yourself some lunch, you’ll board the executive, air-conditioned coach for your afternoon trip to Stonehenge. Leaving the busy streets of London behind, you’ll soon be rolling through the Hampshire countryside.
Seeing the famous stones in the wilds of the Salisbury Plain is pretty breathtaking and is a must-do. Who carved the stones and why? How on earth did they move each of these 40-ton stones? Unlock the secrets and marvel at this remarkable and mysterious feat of engineering for yourself!
There’s no doubt it’s going to be a long day, but visiting the best of London and the incredible Stonehenge in one day is a brilliant road trip, filled with the most Instagrammable moments ever!
