What Can I Expect

A 20 or 45-minute helicopter pilot simulator experience near London? You will be wanting this voucher valid at either the sim centre at Kent's Stoke Medway Airfield, or Hillmott’s Farm in Beaconsfield! 

If you've ever fancied having a go at being a helicopter pilot, but without your feet leaving the ground, this is the experience for you. Professional-standard Bell 206 helicopter sims are operational in two venues near London and they are great fun.

Inside the cockpit, you will feel 100% immersed in the fascinating world of simulated flight. It all feels very real. This is state of the art stuff and it's the sort of sim used by new helicopter pilots in training and for qualified pilots on refresher courses too, so it is incredibly realistic.

The graphics are spot on. If you've programmed a take off in your chopper from your local airport, it will actually look like your local airport. If you add in some rain, you will see that rain falling. And if you go for broke add in some turbulence, you will find yourself battling with the wind at the controls.

The idea of these experiences is to maximise the time at the controls, so you'll have a short pre-flight briefing to talk about the controls, weather and your flight path and then you're up. Hop into the pilot seat and get ready to take control of the Bell 206.
