What Can I Expect

A vintage bus tour of London, with Cream Tea at Harrods! These afternoon tours in a classic, open-top double decker bus are a great way to see the sights of the capital, with a very posh stop for High Tea included.

Setting off from Victoria Coach Station, your journey will be aboard a vintage, 1950s Routemaster bus. These iconic red London Transport buses drove the streets of the busy capital for decades.

Your open-top ride includes live commentary from your host and guide, who will point out all the landmarks and sights to you. There will be photo stop offs at the likes of Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, on your way to the Tower of London.

Outside the famous Traitor’s Gate, you’ll hear the history and legends behind these famous towers, with all the anecdotes and myths included!

You then enjoy a short Thames boat ride, seeing the landmark buildings such as the Globe Theatre, London Bridge and the Shard skyscraper from the water, on your way to Millbank/Westminster pier, where you’ll disembark.

The icing on the cake (quite literally!) of your London vintage bus tour is the cream tea at none other than Harrods - quite possibly the most famous department store in the world. Enjoy fresh scones, with clotted cream and Harrods’ own luxury preserves, accompanied by a flute of bubbly at this opulent Knightsbridge institution.

• Tours depart at 13:00 from Victoria Coach Station (Boarding 12:45pm)

• January & February: Fridays
• March: Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays
• April-October: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
• November & December: Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays

Please note:

• Until the 31st March 2025 the cream tea will be served in the Harrods Café located on the lower ground floor
• From the 1st April experiences will be taking place on the 4th floor (Georgian Terrace)
