What Can I Expect

Book a Mini and muscle car drive for a keen teen! If you know someone who's itching to get behind the wheel before they legally can, this Mini and muscle car experience is a great choice. It combines a classic driving lesson, with a spin in an American Mustang - and we think they'll love it.

Open to teens aged 10 years or over who are at least 4ft 10 tall (so they can reach the pedals), these sessions are really cool. Your mini motorists will get to have a taste of what driving is all about in their lesson, which is taken in a funky Mini Cooper S. After that, things step a gear with a drive in a Ford Mustang GT.

Teenagers will be shown all the basics of being behind the wheel. Each session is hosted by an experienced Advanced Driving Instructor who is very skilled at motivating and encouraging nervous youngsters. All tuition is in-car and adapted to the skill level of each pupil.

It could be that this is the very first time they've been behind the steering wheel, in which case teaching will cover everything from driving position and turning the engine on, to clutch control and changing gear. As confidence grows, it might be a case of trying out a few manoeuvres in addition to skills such as parking and reversing.

After all that useful teaching in the Mini, it's time to move over to the mega muscle car that is the Mustang. It certainly looks the part and everyone loves it; kids and adults alike.

Time to leap in and get rolling. It's sure to be like nothing else your teens have ever seen. This is a proper American muscle car and they're going to be the ones driving it for three miles of the circuit. How cool is that?

For these Mini and muscle car drives you get a 30-minute lesson in the Mini and is accompanied by a three-mile blast in the Mustang. And remember, these sessions are just for the kids!

• Drivers are insured but are liable for a £5000 excess which can be waivered for an additional charge of £25 payable when booking your date (Mustang only)
• Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their session start time for registration
• Various media options are available to purchase on the day
