What Can I Expect
Take part in an online floristry course hosted by Paula Pryke OBE! Honoured by the Queen for her contribution to modern floral design in the UK, renowned florist Paula is ready with a whole bunch of online content for budding flower arrangers.
Trained as a teacher, Paula finally swapped text books for florals, when she realised her dream of owning a flower shop in Islington in 1988. Ever since then her client base has grown to include big corporations and A-list stars who love her creative and fresh flower designs. This online course gives you the chance to learn from one of the greats.
Split into four video workshops, all the floristry basics will be covered. From how to choose your blooms, combining florals with foliage and how to prolong flower life. You'll be privy to loads of florists' secrets (chicken wire and agra wool will be your best friends!) and even be shown how to wrap flowers for delivery and what containers to use.
Of course, to complete the practical workshop side of the course you'll need some flowers. These can be sourced from your local market, florist or even from your own garden. As long as you've got the blooms, you can work your floristry magic with expert Paula looking after you.
And we have to say, going for the Expert floristry course option means you go beyond online learning, as you'll get personal feedback from Paula on your floral designs and presentations. A great choice for those who are really getting into their flower arranging.
So gather those flowers and foliage and don't forget your chicken wire and your ribbon. It's time to get arranging stunning displays, from delicate hand-tied bouquets to imposing wedding table centres, all with expert help and guidance on these online floristry courses!
