What Can I Expect
Microlighting over the Peak District and Staffordshire Moors! Take to the skies in the latest generation flex-wing microlight from Tatenhill Airport, where there’s so much for you to see as you fly.
We are offering vouchers for 30, 45, 60 and 90-minute flights with this friendly and professional team out of Tatenhill, located between Uttoxeter and Burton.
Going flex-wing is proper, grass-roots microlighting, with that open cockpit feel. That also means incredible 360–degree views are guaranteed, as you fly over Staffordshire and beyond.
Instructors will try to adapt the flight path to suit your interests (as there’s so much to see in the area). So if you're a fan of grandiose castles, you can take a flight path that includes flying over the likes of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Shugborough Hall and Bolsover Castle.
If you love rugged landscapes, how about soaring over Cannock Chase and the National Arboretum? Further afield on longer flight durations, you could tour the Peak District, heading over dales, moorlands and reservoirs towards Dovedale and Bakewell.
As well as seeing the amazing sights, you will be given the chance to take the controls during your flight, so for a short while it will be you actually flying the microlight! Just brilliant.
The accompanying instructors, headed up by the highly-experienced Sandie, are all passionate about flying and love instructing in their flex-wing microlights over the Peak District and Staffordshire countryside. We think you'll love it too.
