What Can I Expect

Set sail on the Poole fish and chips cruise! Everyone knows a fish and chip supper tastes better by the seaside and these boat trips from Poole Quay are the perfect way to enjoy both from the viewpoint of the water.

Departing at 7.30pm from alongside the little blue kiosk on the Poole quayside, you’ll be taken on a one and a half hour tour around Poole harbour and beyond. With a clear and easy to hear live commentary, you’ll learn lots and see lots too.

Once on your way, your fish and chip meal tray will be handed to you. Delivered by local chip shop All-ways Fryday (we love the name!) you’ll be able to sit below deck in the passenger lounge to enjoy your food, or eat in the fresh air on the open top deck.

There’s a fully-stocked bar with hot drinks, cold drinks, alcoholic drinks and snacks too, so you can sip a nice cuppa or a vino with your chippy tea!

And of course, there’s plenty of sightseeing during your cruise. From the fishing boats at Poole Quay, the big boats at the ferry terminal to the wonderful green spaces at the coastal parks that surround Poole, it's lovely to see it all from the water.

Depending on the time of year you go, you might well be enjoying your fish and chip supper as the sun goes down, which makes your cruise that extra special.
