What Can I Expect
Quad Biking in Scotland - the spectacular scenery of the Scottish Highlands is your stunning backdrop for this superb quad bike safari and, believe us, it's pretty much wildlife on tap here in Perthshire!
Before setting off on your ride on the wild side, there is a safety briefing. You will also be kitted out in helmet, gloves and heavy waterproofs suit, so this should give you a good idea of the sort of terrain you'll be tackling here on your quad bike - mud, water and dirt in that way only Scotland can offer!
And when we said the scenery is something special, we think it'll truly take your breath away. As you head off on what the team here in Scotland call the Drover's Trail, you'll be quad biking on grassy tracks that will bring you to a summit and magnificent views of the loch below. Stop for a moment to drink in the view, then it's back to the job in hand - quad biking with fervour and lots of revs, with over 1200 acres of Scottish wilderness to play with.
As well as pointing out some of the local residents (from grouse and osprey to sky larks and red kites) your quad biking guides leading the treks will show you the way over fast, undulating tracks, through wide open spaces and the heathlands of this fine area of Scotland. Particular highlights include the 'Bowl' where it's fast and furious and the 'Blair Burn' where it's nearly always wet.
Unusually for most quad biking experiences, this Scotland centre has chosen to use Honda 250 Fourtrax bikes, but two wheel drive, so you will have even more fun slipping and sliding and getting the mud spraying (hence the overalls!). All guides are LANTRA trained by the skills council and all will delight in taking you out for a small group trek to show your their delightful playground here in Perthshire.
What's more, when you go quad biking in Scotland on these super-agile all terrain vehicles it really is 'freestyle' as there are no marked paths or a set trail, it's all about exploring this vast Scottish estate on your ATV and having a serious amount of pleasure in Perthshire too!
