What Can I Expect
Ahh…white water rafting in Scotland! The setting for these rafting experiences and white water days in Perthshire is the stuff of dreams. With its rugged hills and mighty rivers, a myriad of small tributaries come together to create rivers like the Tay, which offers rapids suitable for all paddlers from novices to the pros.
These Scottish highland rivers are free flowing and rafting water levels fluctuate dramatically over the season. The high waters from September to April provide the exhilaration of greater speed, bigger waves and challenging rafting. Lower flows during the summer months provide a more scenic and gentle introduction, but require tight teamwork and more precise manoeuvring.
Our half day of rafting sees you tackling the white water along a stretch of Scotland's River Tay from Aberfeldy to Grandtully. It starts off gently enough, but soon you'll be tackling the likes of the zoom flume and the assign machine - some of Perthshire's finest watery challenges!
Opting for the full 'white water day' gives you a fun-packed whole day that can include rafting, river bugging or canyon scrambling. The idea of this experience is that you choose two of the three activities offered to participate in. It's one of the most gnarly days out on the water you can find in Scotland, so by the end, you may be feeling a bit battered and bruised, but the exhilaration levels will be at a maximum.
This white water rafting Scotland centre in Perthshire is renowned for being friendly and fun in a stunning place. It's a great choice for groups, families and friends who want to experience the best of Scotland's River Tay!
