What Can I Expect
Sausage making classes at Ann Hood's Smart School of Cookery! Learn how to make premium sausages with these two-hour classes in London, Essex and Buckinghamshire.
It might surprise you to know that you don't need any specialist machinery, butchery skills or even skins to make sausages. The pro chefs at Smart will show you how to create the best bangers ever - and you'll get to taste them too.
The most important part of making sausages is actually the ingredients. Start with fresh, locally-sourced pork meat and you are already on the right path to fantastically tasty sausages. Add in spices and veg and you've got everything you need. No preservatives, additives or any other nasty things!
We won't let you into the methods and secrets behind how to make a sausage without even the need for a skin, but rest assured you will learn lots during these experiences, which are hosted by an expert chef and will see you getting involved in every step of the process.
Of course, sausages are great on their own, but a banger accompanied by mashed potato can't be beaten. So you'll find out how to make a lovely, creamy mash - and a tasty piccalilli to go with it all too.
