What Can I Expect
Why go truck driving when you can go Scania truck driving? We are offering weekday and anytime sessions driving an impressive Scania truck for either 15 or 30-minutes at a choice of tracks around the UK.
As Scania says, trucks such as the R450 are ‘strong, tough and very driveable'. And when your office is a cab pounding the motorways of the UK, these are the sort of HGVs you want to be driving. These trucks are used to transport cars and kit to the track days, but rather than sitting in a corner of the circuit, the organisers realised everyone wanted to drive a Scania truck, so that's just what they've done.
And indeed, these experiences always attract a lot of attention on the day. This is your chance to go driving in this 12.9l, six cylinder, 410bhp behemoth of the roads. And whilst they may not be the quickest out of the starting blocks when hauling a zillion tons of loo rolls, they are incredibly powerful, with shed loads of torque.
Sitting high up above cars, you get a great view of the road ahead in a truck. It's all pretty comfy up there too, with the cab decked out with all the modern comforts and gadgets for long distance trips. Whilst you won't be clocking up the motorway miles, you will be putting your driving skills to the test driving the Scania, including getting this HGV reversed parked. (It's all about the mirrors!).
Great fun and exhilarating, these Scania truck driving sessions are the stuff of childhood dreams for young and old alike. The minimum age for these experiences is 12 years old (no driving licence needed and you just need to be at least 5ft tall to be able to reach the pedals), so teens and grown ups can get to drive a very cool Scania truck.
