What's Included

  • The tuition will be tailored to your experience of flying and your choice of actions
  • Various scenarios including weather and failures can be arranged
  • A "jump" seat for your guest to share the experience with you
  • Share your experience as you both take a turn at the controls
  • The simulators are 'fixed base' and do not move however due to visual trickery you'll be convinced they did
  • Session are a back to back experience and include a short break in between the 60 minute sessions or a lunch/tea break in between the 120 minute sessions (please bring your own lunch)

What Can I Expect

The simulator duo experience - fly two different simulators to see what both military and commercial flying is all about! We are offering vouchers for 2 x 60 and 2 x120-minute duo sim sessions in Manchester.

You will be flying the Avro Vulcan bomber and the Boeing 737-800 simulators on these duo experiences. Both are fixed-based and with fully-working controls and high-definition graphics to ensure you become fully-immersed in the world of aviation.

The Vulcan, with its big delta wings was a big deal as a nuclear deterrent in the Cold War. Once inter-continental relations thawed, the Vulcan continued serving as a reconnaissance plane. Now there are no Vulcans left flying, so this simulator experience is as close as you can get!

The Boeing 737-800 is one of the most recognisable commercial airliners ever built. Chances are if you have ever flown anywhere, it could well have been on a 737. This simulator gives you the chance to move from the main passenger cabin and see what goes on in the flight deck.

And of course, having a sim session on the Vulcan AND the 737 means you get at least two take offs and two landings. In fact, what you want to do with the double sim time is up to you, so you could fly full sectors or do some aerial exercises like circuits, formation flying and so on.
