What Can I Expect

This is what we call ‘a date night with a difference’. You will set off from London Eye Millennium Pier on the south bank of the River Thames, with departure times arranged around the setting of the sun.

Whilst your skipper deftly handles the boat, your enthusiastic host will be making you laugh with fun facts and stories about the places you’ll see on your journey. But the ride is not just about the commentary and seeing the sights…

When Is It Available

• All bookings are subject to availability and guests should book at least two weeks in advance, especially in peak season

Vouchers are valid for use on the following days:

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday   - February - April 2025 & September 2025 - February 2026
• Thursday, Friday and Sunday   - May 2025 - August 2025 -  Saturdays not permitted during May-August 2025

Suitable For

• Minimum age 18
• There are no weight restrictions
• Participants will need to be able to climb onboard and sit on an individual seat for the duration of the trip
• All boats can experience unpredictable movements that can aggravate existing medical conditions
• Not suitable for passengers with heart problems, current or historical neck or back problems
• Unsuitable for expectant mothers at any stage of pregnancy
• Whilst Thames Rockets are unable to take wheelchairs actually on-board, guests can travel with their carers assistance to board the vessel and down steps into the seating area
• Guests must be able to sit unaided once onboard

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to watch the speedboat depart/arrive

Anything Else

• The Speedboat Experiences can accommodate people with some disabilities The boat has been approved by the SCOPE and there are specially designed stability rails on board
• You are advised to wear sensible clothing bearing in mind it is usually cooler out on the river. Flat soled shoes are recommended
