What's Included
- One hour simulator session flying the missions as seen in Top Gun: Maverick the film
- Sessions are taken in full-motion F-18 Hornet fighter jet simulators
- The sims run on full motion platforms, using commercial military grade software
- Realistic screens and flight controls
- The hour is split into 2 mission as you learn how to fly and fight at low level - using the same locations as used in the film
- Opt for a voucher for two people and you will fly the Maverick missions together
Mission 1:
Fly the terrain and practice flying the aircraft, weapons deployment, high-speed canyon run without threats, inverted attack, escape, and landing on a landing strip
Mission 2:
Launch off the carrier, fly low level to avoid multiple SAM threats, bomb the target and escape whilst avoiding air-to-air threats. Rejoin the fleet anchored off the coast, and land on the carrier.

There’s an enemy military installation hidden in the heights of the mountains and your mission is to destroy it. You can go solo on this engagement, or you can fly with your wing(wo)man on a two-person sortie to sort out that enemy encampment together.
Your 30-minute training flight will see you practicing your low-level, tight-valley flying. And yes, it’s full motion, so you’ll feel exactly what it's like flying by the seat of your pants, when you will feel the need for speed!
Now you've got your stripes, it's time to adopt your flying moniker (ours would be ‘Bluey') and prepare yourself to fly that fully-armed F-18 Hornet into enemy territory.
And indeed the F-18 sims will put you right where Maverick is - on a US Navy aircraft carrier somewhere in the middle of the ocean. This is your moment to shine…
Take off will be abrupt. It's going to be dog eat dog out there. Destroy or be destroyed. Big risk, big gains. All those other cheesy Hollywood-worthy lines come to mind, as you launch the fighter jet down the narrow valley towards the target. Suddenly, enemy Su-57s are on your tail. Break right, break left..do anything you can to outwit them.
With the installation in sight, lock on the target and release those air-to-ground missiles intent on destruction. Will you be cool, calm and collected like Maverick and Rooster during your Top Gun flight simulator experience? Or will you be shot down by the enemy? If you make it, we're sure you'll be allowed to request a flyby - or even buzz the tower in true Maverick flight simulator style!
