What Can I Expect
Meet the beasts of Bicester on the Triple Beast driving experience! This most excellent session gives you the chance to drive an army truck, a tank and a fire engine. It's going to be a shed-load of fun.
First up, the location. Bicester Heritage is a really cool place. This famous ex-RAF station is the UK's only hub for historical motoring excellence. Across 444-acres of land and runways, there are over 50 businesses on site, focussing heavily on motoring in all its forms, making it a vibrant and bustling place.
That's why Bicester is the best location for the beasts! Loads of room, well away from the public roads and great facilities too. Friendly instructors will be with you to help you get the most out of each beast you'll be tackling on or off the track.
The Alvis Spartan Tank is considered light at ‘just' eight tonnes, championing agility and speed, rather than brute force. It's great fun to drive too, as you've got seven forward gears and seven reverse gears too!
The Leyland DAF 45/150 is affectionately known as the ‘Four tonner', referring to the military truck's impressive maximum payload. This DAF has been configured as a troop carrier and can transport up to 14 personnel.
And then there's the fire engine. It's a Dennis Sabre XL, by far the best (and most popular) purpose-built fire appliance ever! With that 8.2l turbocharged Cummins engine, you will love doing a bit of response driving and trying out fun challenges like the brick wall test too.
Don't forget, you will be driving all three of these impressive vehicles on this brilliant Triple Beast experience at Bicester!
