What Can I Expect
Secure your slot on a VR flight simulator in Blackpool! Super flexible, with vouchers for 45, 60 or 75-minute sessions, giving you the chance to fly the F-18, the Spitfire or both simulators - it’s entirely up to you.
Operating out of Hangar 8 at Blackpool Airport, these virtual reality-equipped, side-by-side sims are linked, so you can bring a friend to fly simultaneously as a duo, or an instructor will be alongside you in the second sim.
The Air Combat Pro set-ups boast incredible 360 graphics and full-motion cockpit seats, so you'll feel every missile launch and barrel roll you perform.
This Blackpool team has lined up a series of challenging missions for you. In the aircraft of your choice, you could be learning aerobatics, firing weapons and doing some by-the-seat-of-your-pants low level runs through valleys and over mountainous terrain. There will be some tricky aerial missions for you to do too.
Longer sim sessions bring added dimensions, with tasks like aerial dogfights. Will you be shot down in flames? Or will you be the flying ace? But the million dollar question is will you be enemies or allies? As you soar through the battle skies, will you be barrel-rolling away from each other, or combining forces to take out the enemy planes?
For all three of these VR fighter jet simulator experiences in Blackpool you will have a comprehensive briefing which is in addition to the sim time. That means if you book a 45-minute session, you will be in that hot seat for a full 45-minutes. Time to bring out that steely inner fighter pilot in you!
