What Can I Expect

Two-day classic car rentals in Scotland! Spend the weekend or a nice little weekday treat with the classic car of your choice, which gives you 175-miles per day of mileage included in your rental. 

The base for these classic car rental deals is Bonnyrigg, just south of Scotland’s capital city. This family-run rental business is headed up by Russell, who is super passionate about classic motoring, ever since he bought and fell in love with his first car - an MG Midget.

Having a car for a whole two days is a real treat. Your handpicked classic will become part of the family, as you bond whilst driving around the wonderful central belt of Scotland. And with plenty of included mileage, you can pretty much go where you want in that time.

If you ‘make a break’ of it and stay somewhere overnight, you can do a lovely tour taking in everything from the mountains and glens, to lochs and coastline. Alternatively, you might prefer to stay local to you and cruise your neighbourhood for a couple of days in the classic motor of your dreams.

It’s all very flexible. Transfers from nearby Edinburgh Airport and train station can be organised for you, or you can leave your car at the centre. The team is always pleased to help with route maps and ideas, according to what you’re interested in.

A little tip from us if you want to share your weekend classic car rental package in Scotland -  have a think about adding an extra driver (this can be done when you collect the car for a small fee) and remember that you can fill all available seats with passengers for no extra cost.

When Is It Available

• Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
• Hire is from 09:00 to 17:00 the following day
• All dates are subject to availability of your chosen vehicle
• The car can be driven in the rain, but severe weather conditions may make it not suitable or safe to take the car out. This is at the discretion of the hire team on the day

Suitable For

• All drivers must be aged between 25 and 79 and must have held a full driving licence for 2 years
• A clean (minor endorsements accepted) driving licence must be produced prior to commencement of hire
• One additional driver may be added for a charge payable direct, providing they meet the insurance requirements

Spectators

• Passengers are welcome if there is space in your chosen vehicle

Anything Else

• Vehicles are insured on a fully comprehensive policy
• The cars are also covered by a breakdown and recovery scheme
• The hirer must leave an open credit card voucher for £1000.00 to £1250.00 depending on the type of car
• In the event of unavailability of a chosen car due to accident, mechanical or other operations factors an alternative car or alternative date will be offered 
• The cars are supplied with a full tank of petrol and must be returned with a full tank of petrol
• There is an additional charge of £1.50 per mile if the mileage allowance is exceeded
