What's Included

Make your perfect pair of bridal shoes on a one day workshop
Your expert designer Hetty will guide you through every stage of the shoe making process
Prior to your experience you will speak to Hetty over email to choose your fabric (typically upcycled kimono fabrics, however other fabrics can be sourced if you have something else in mind or you can provide your own fabric)
Choose from four different shoe styles to make including slingback, flat ballet shoe, heeled sandal or a mule (shoe style choices provided by email prior to your workshop)
Choose the heel shape and leather to cover it along with the inner sock inside your shoe
Learn the process of creating the perfect shoe shape and attach the sole and heel
All tools and materials required will be provided on the day
Take home your handmade bridal shoes at the end of your workshop
Tea and coffee will be provided

What Can I Expect

Make your own bridal shoes at Hetty Rose's workshop in Kent! If you're getting married you want everything to be perfect, from head to toe. And that includes your shoes. You will be making your very own bespoke pair of shoes to wear to your wedding on this workshop day.

Hetty certainly knows her stuff when it comes to footwear. Having worked for some of the big names in shoe design and fabrication, she has been creating her own bespoke shoes for her own label for many years now. This talented shoe maker loves making shoes for brides to wear on their big day.

You will spend the day with Hetty at her garden studio near Maidstone in Kent. Having had a chat with Hetty beforehand about the sort of shoe style and fabrics you'd like to use, you will be ready to make a start on your shoes. You will assist in every step of the process. You will quite literally be making the shoes you've always dreamed of wearing on the day you get married!

Most brides-to-be want to make sure their outfit is coordinated, so you can bring fabrics with you, or choose from Hetty's extensive supplies. And we have to say, she is very talented at knowing what shoe will suit you and the textures and colours that will compliment your dress or even your flowers.

This is a very special experience for brides. It's a great engagement present or even a pre-wedding gift from friends and family. The shoes you make will be a sheer joy to wear on the day you get married, knowing that they are handmade by you and Hetty Rose!
