What Can I Expect

Do the triple with this fab Ford blast! You will be driving three different Ford motors for three miles each on this triple whammy tribute to some of the greatest cars Ford has ever made.

The GT40 was Ford's weapon for toppling Ferrari's dominance in the famous Le Mans 24-hour race. Sure enough, it worked. The GT40 won the iconic endurance race in 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969. The most famous of these cars was the 1966 GT40 with Gulf Oil livery.

This authentic replica is a befitting tribute to that car, complete with the distinctive blue and orange Gulf colours. As a bonus for circuit aficionados, there's a genuine racing Ford engine under the bonnet powering this sleek racer - and it's just as amazing to drive as you'd imagine.

Following up from the King of the tarmac, we've got the Lords of the loose gravel for you to drive with a Ford Escort Mk I and Mk II revving up their modest, but torque-filled 2l engines for you to blast around the track.

The Mk I is brilliantly wide-bodied and blue in the Fast & Furious style. The simple and neat design was what made Escort a superb rally car and having the opportunity to get behind the wheel of one today is really rather special.

Moving on to the MkII, this car is a nod to Ari Vatanen, who won the Driver's Championship in his distinctive Rothman's RS1800 in 1981. This was the end of an era, when rear wheel drive cars were literally overtaken by four wheel drive motors, so it's pretty nostalgic getting your taste of oversteer in this MkII.

As the man Ari Vatanen himself said : “When I compete in a rally, I give it my all. No half measures”. With that little phrase ringing in your ears, head out on the track for your Ford blast with the Escorts and the GT40. Great value retro cool Ford Motor Company fun!
