What Can I Expect

Outdoor karting at Hoddesdon! Head to Rye House Raceway for these fantastic open karting sessions. We are offering vouchers for 30 and 60-minute experiences, suitable for adults and teens who are 16 years or over.

Rye House has been going for decades. It has a long and very successful history when it comes to karting. It's an MSA-approved kart centre, often hosting club, national and international kart races. Facilities both on and off the track are excellent.

The smooth tarmac surface is top-level professional standard. The layout of the main GP circuit is challenging, with plenty of corners and fast straights too. There's even a grandstand at the appropriately-named Stadium Corner!

It's a really popular karting club. You may have heard of some of the club members who raced at Hoddesdon. There's Lewis Hamilton (who famously said: “Karting days are the best!”), Jenson Button and David Coulthard to name but three. They clearly loved it at Rye House and we think you will too.

The team at Hoddesdon is passionate about karting and always have impeccably maintained, modern karts that are powerful and great to drive. You'll be kitted out in all the proper karting race gear, right down to the balaclava and full-face helmet. After all, these karts can reach speeds of up to 60mph. And when you're inches off the floor, that feels really, really fast.

Friends and family coming to watch you go karting will love the viewpoint from the balcony. They can look down on the track and follow your progress. There's also a good cafe on site too.
