'Water Wipeout' at Lee Valley

What Can I Expect

Have a splashing time on the Water Wipeout course! A 60-minute session on the inflatables on the lake at the lovely Lee Valley White Water Centre. It's outdoors, it's energetic and perfect for families!

This wipeout on water is open to all, from age eight. Any children under the age or 12 will need to be accompanied by a participating grown up. That means it's the ideal activity for the family to enjoy together.

The wipeout park is just the right size for younger children and teens. Not too scary, but big enough to be lots of fun. It has been set up like a wipeout ‘run', with a linked up course of obstacles to tackle, finishing with the waterslide into the lake at the end.

You'll be clambering, sliding, jumping and more whilst you negotiate the inflatable obstacles. Falling in might be par for the course, but you've got a buoyancy aid on and the water, being on a lake, is clear and calm.

During your allotted aqua park time, there will be Lee Valley instructors on and around the modules. They're there for safety and to play the role of host. If you're up for it, they might suggest a relay round, or even a time trial competing against the clock, to see who can get round the course in the fastest time possible - and all without sliding off!

Availability

• Valid for use on Saturdays and Sundays with weekdays during national school holidays
• Dates and session times are subject to availability

Suitable For

• Minimum age 8
• Under 12s must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times throughout their visit (including doing the activity)
• Participants aged under 16 must have a responsible adult (over the age of 21 unless legal parent/guardian) who remains on site at Lee Valley White Water Centre for the duration of their activity with one responsible adult to every four children (max)
• Maximum weight 18 stone
• All participants must complete a Flat Water Declaration before the experience.  Details will be provided when redeeming your voucher.  If under 18, a parent can complete on your behalf

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to come along and watch the action

Anything Else

• Closed toe shoes must be worn for this experience (No sandals, flip flops or heeled shoes)
• All participants must wear a minimum of shorts and a t-shirt whilst on the activity
• Wetsuits and wetboots are not mandatory, but are available to hire for £5 per person, payable on the day
• There are onsite food outlets where food and refreshments can be purchased with great views of the lake
• On site kids play area and the beautiful nearby River Lee Country Park
• Disc Golf Course pay on the day activities are available to enjoy, subject to availability
